throughline sets a daily api call limit on each customer that has access to the api this is to ensure our infrastructure is not overloaded the api call quota is measured on a 24 hour rolling window every time you make an api call, we check the combined number of calls that all of your applications have made within the last 24 hours if it's lower than your quota, we allow the request; if it's above your quota, we reject the request the rolling window is advanced hourly therefore, if you make an api call at 5 45pm, we will count all api calls from 6pm on the previous day up until now if you reach your quota at 5 50pm, you will regain access at 6pm provided that the total number of api calls between 6pm today and 6pm yesterday is below your quota our default quotas across all find a helpline api endpoints are api calls per customer per day 1,000 api calls per ip per second 30 production tier accounts may have their daily quota increased upon request
