API Access Policy
To access the API, the customer must first create an Account and in doing so request developer access to the API. ThroughLine will review the customers request, and may ask for additional details. The decision to accept or reject the request is at ThroughLine’s absolute discretion.
In case of rejection, the customer will receive written notice of the unsuccessful request within a reasonable timeframe.
If the request is accepted, ThroughLine will grant developer access to the customers Account and the customer will receive written notice that will include any pertinent materials required to access the API.
The customer may register an application to access the API which will furnish the customer with the Access Credentials. ThroughLine may replace the customers Access Credentials at any time with notice. Multiple Applications and Access Credentials may be registered, but ThroughLine may prevent access to the API via the Account if the customer:
- has created an excessive number of Access Credentials; or
- has created multiple Applications to bypass any technical limits or restrictions of the API as set out in the Master Services Agreement or policies
If an Application is suspended, the customer must not attempt to circumvent such suspension by registering any new Applications.
The customer is solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of their Access Credentials. Any activities related to the Access Credentials are the customers responsibility. ThroughLine reserves the right to replace Access Credentials with notice.
The Access Credentials cannot be used with any other application, and the customer must not sell, trade, sublicence, or share the Access Credentials to any other party other than personnel.
