The widget automatically detects a user’s country based on their IP address. This sets the default location and displays the most widely available services for that country. You can also preconfigure a default topic. Users can manually change the country or narrow their search to a more specific location, such as a state or region.

The banner shows a quick-call button for emergency services only in countries where suicide is decriminalized. It is not shown in locations where suicide is illegal or the legal status is unclear. Based on the user's IP location, it displays a single, verified emergency number, prioritizing ambulance services to minimize risk and ensure appropriate care. All numbers are sourced from official government records, verified by three sources, and reviewed every 9 months. To protect user safety, the banner cannot be removed.
