There are three tiers available for usage of the Throughline API. Free accounts will have access to the Sandbox tier with a limited dataset, whereas paid customers can access the Entry or Full tiers for more comprehensive helpline coverage.

## Sandbox tier

This is a free tier that provides access to all the available endpoints, but only a limited set of the available data and a limit of 1,000 API calls in any 24 hour window.

Requests in the Sandbox tier are limited to helplines which are:

- Based in New Zealand or the United States of America
- Support people with issues relating to abuse & domestic violence, gender & sexual identity, or suicidal thoughts

Opening hours and support types are not included in the helpline data at this tier.

## Entry tier

This is a cost-optimised tier for customers who only need access to the country’s foremost resources for people struggling with suicidal thoughts. This tier enforces [priority helpline filtering](docId\:SVuiMnMZsMCHb9k-PMn5o).

## Full tier

The Full tier provides access to all available verified helpline data in all locations.
